At StoryK.in, we respect your right to privacy and complete control over your personal data. In compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), Meta Platform Terms & Developer Data Policy, and the Google API Services User Data Policy, we provide transparent, immediate, and automated mechanisms for you to request the deletion of all data associated with your account, including social media connections and tokens.

2. Types of Data Subject to Deletion

When you request data deletion, the following categories of information are permanently wiped from our active systems:

• Account Credentials: User profile, email address, password hashes, and user settings.
• Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Data: All OAuth user access tokens, Facebook Page access tokens, Instagram Business account IDs, Page identifiers, profile avatars, and queued social posts.
• Social Performance Analytics: Cached video analytics, view counters, engagement statistics, and posting heatmaps.
• Video Generation Records: Task logs, script drafts, scene outlines, voice settings, and temporary media render caches.

If you connected StoryK to your Facebook Pages or Instagram Business accounts, you can revoke permissions and delete linked data directly within Meta's platform at any time:

4. Step-by-Step Instructions: Disconnecting Accounts in StoryK Studio

You can instantly delete all stored access tokens for Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube without deleting your entire StoryK account:

1. Log in to your StoryK account at https://storyk.in/user/dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Social Accounts / Automation Tab in your Creator Dashboard.
3. Click the red "Disconnect" button next to the connected account.
4. The stored OAuth tokens and scheduled tasks for that account are instantly deleted from our database.

5. Requesting Full Account & Data Erasure (Web Request / Email)

To request permanent deletion of your complete StoryK user profile, all generated videos, task logs, and associated records:

• Email Request: Send an email from your registered StoryK account address to support@storyk.in with the subject line "Data Deletion Request - [Your Registered Email]".
• Processing Timeline SLA: All data deletion requests are acknowledged within 24 hours and fully purged from our production databases and cloud caches within 48 to 72 hours.
• Confirmation: Once your data has been permanently erased, you will receive a final confirmation email containing a verification confirmation code.
